Commitment of the Platform and Trainers to Intellectual Property Rights When Developing Course Content
Ertyad Training transforms scientific materials prepared by trainers into digital learning content. Trainers participating in content development must respect intellectual property and copyright laws and cite all references and sources used in course preparation. Before starting the content development process, each trainer signs a Declaration and Commitment Form confirming that the content complies with all intellectual property, copyright, and authorship laws applicable in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Ertyad Training holds exclusive rights to all training materials it provides, whether owned by Ertyad or by its global partners. Ertyad Training represents these partners in Saudi Arabia through approved partnership agreements. Trainers are also required to acknowledge all scientific references and resources used in preparing their course content. When using open-source educational materials, trainers must ensure full compliance with the licensing terms of these open resources.
Commitment to the Policy of Retaining and Using Materials on the Ertyad Training Platform
Ertyad Training Platform provides a set of systems and tools — such as the e-learning system, virtual classrooms, and other digital systems — designed to support trainees’ learning experience. The use of these systems generates various materials and data, including: Files uploaded by users in different formats, and System-generated data such as attendance rates and engagement analytics. The handling of these materials follows a clear policy established by Ertyad Training to ensure compliance with intellectual property rights and copyright laws. Materials are categorized based on their sensitivity, confidentiality, and associated risks. Proper policies are in place to govern their management and use for the benefit of the training ecosystem.
Actions Taken in Case of Intellectual Property Violation
If a trainer violates intellectual property or copyright principles, Ertyad Training will immediately remove the infringing content, notify the trainer, and require full compliance. Failure to comply may result in termination of cooperation.
If a trainee violates these principles, Ertyad Training will require immediate correction or removal of the violation. Failure to comply may result in account suspension and notification of relevant authorities.
